A1 art prints
594 × 841 mm · 23.4 × 33.1 in · from £79.95
A1 is the largest size we print, and the one that changes a room rather than decorating it. At nearly 600 by 850 millimetres it works as a single focal point on an empty wall, above a sofa, or at the end of a hallway where it can be seen from a distance.
Available in A1
More designs are added as they are made. Every design we sell is available in all six A-sizes.
What A1 suits
- Above a three-seater sofa or a double bed
- A bare wall that needs one thing rather than several
- Hallways and stairwells viewed from a distance
- Open-plan rooms where smaller prints get lost
Give an A1 print clear space around it. Crowding it with other frames wastes the scale you paid for.
Framing an A1 print
At A1, use acrylic glazing rather than glass. A glazed A1 frame is heavy enough to need a proper wall fixing, and acrylic removes both the weight and the risk. Expect to pay £25–60 for a good A1 frame.
Prints are sold unframed. Because A-sizes are an international standard, off-the-shelf frames fit without any bespoke work — see our framing guide for mounts, glazing and hanging heights.
Paper and printing
Every A1 print is produced as a giclée reproduction on heavyweight archival paper using pigment inks, so colours hold rather than fading over time.
Common questions
How big is an A1 print?
A1 is 594 × 841 mm, or 23.4 × 33.1 inches — roughly twice the area of A2 and eight times A3.
Is A1 too big for a normal room?
Rarely, if it has a wall to itself. The usual mistake is the opposite: hanging something too small on a large wall.
How is an A1 print delivered?
Rolled in a rigid tube to avoid creasing.
