A4 art prints

A4 is the everyday size — the same sheet as a standard piece of paper, so frames are available everywhere and cost very little. It suits desks, shelves and grouped arrangements rather than commanding a wall on its own.

What A4 suits

• Desks, shelves and mantelpieces, framed and propped
• Sets of two, three or four in a row
• Narrow walls, alcoves and between doorways
• Home offices and rented spaces

A4 prints work best in groups. A single A4 on a large wall tends to look accidental rather than deliberate.

Framing an A4 print

A4 frames are the cheapest and most widely available of all. Many come with a stand as well as a hook, so the print can sit on a shelf without wall fixings.

Paper and printing

Every A4 print is produced as a giclée reproduction on heavyweight archival paper using pigment inks, so colours hold rather than fading over time.
